Swiss artist Zilla Leutenegger combines wall paintings, drawings, objects and video projections, creating space-oriented installations and images of light. Her works surprise with playful ease. Many are characterised by irony and subtle visual wittiness. Others reveal a dense atmosphere of melancholy, suggesting the absence of something. They appear as snap-shots without plot and dramaturgy and still contain a narrative core, which deals with the existential conditions and chances of life.
